IMPORTANT NOTICE
Scuola del Cuoio uses FedEx or DHL couriers to ship and insure all parcels outside of Italy. Shipment cost is based on weight and volume of the package. The system will automatically quote the cost of shipping and insurance before you proceed to check-out. For large orders, you can require a specific quote by email. All items purchased from Scuola del Cuoio are made ensuing a shipment contract. Scuola del Cuoio remains responsible for the shipment until the parcel is delivered to the consignee's address. Customers are required to provide Scuola del Cuoio, the courier, Customs Offices, or any other entity involved with the logistics of the order with any information or personal information needed to allow a prompt delivery of the order.
US homeland and border security procedures imply that each courier, on behalf of the US Customs Service and the Department of the Treasury, must obtain from the Consignee of international shipments a "Customs Form 5106" completed in all its parts. If the Consignee - when required - fails to submit the form in a timely manner, the courier is authorized to return the parcel to the Sander, applying shipping charges and Italian Custom duties. In such eventuality, the Consignee is the sole responsible for any charge that Scuola del Cuoio will endorse to receive back the shipment.
Shipments may be charged with duties at destination.
RETURN POLICY
If a Scuola del Cuoio product does not meet customer satisfaction for any reason (size, color, product in general), Scuola del Cuoio must receive a registered letter within ten days of purchase or the receipt of the merchandise. Scuola del Cuoio will replace the product or provide a refund of the merchandise not including the initial shipping charges, the shipping charges to receive the returned merchandise in Italy, and credit card commissions.

Upon receipt of the registered letter, the client will be contacted with specific procedures to return the merchandise, including shipping authorization (see below).
We will also accept e-mails vocalizing any return or exchange request, but please keep in mind that though we receive 99% of emails, if one is to be lost, proof of an e-mail will not suffice while a registered letter will. If Scuola del Cuoio does not respond to an e-mail with specific return procedures within 48 hours, please send us fax at +39-055-248-0337
Important note: The Refund and Exchange policy is not applicable on personalized or customized products. Customized products include but are not limited to: custom sized products, custom colors for a specific item(s) or monograms of any kind.
Due to very explicit rules and regulations regarding customs and duties, Scuola del Cuoio can only authorize the receipt and shipment of packages with DHL or FedEx couriers. All unauthorized packages that arrive at Scuola del Cuoio will be refused.
